La Plaza Is Now Open - Enjoy Paul's New Photos
January 8, 2014
Paul is in Nuevo Vallarta as we speak and sending photos of the property and his experiences. The first series of photos focus on one ot the most important new features on the property: La Plaza. We all have watched construction of this facility since June 11, 2011 when Barbara reported the top floor of the Mayan Palace was under deconstruction. It is hard to imagine that a year and a half ago, the building was essentially a Mayan Palace resort. True, there remain units that are occupied. But the number of available units is less than a third of the number that was originally available.
Now, the facility is a multi-use building with shopping for everyone. You will see, the products range from fresh fruits, vegetables and bakery goods, to pharmaceutical items, to freshly made crepes, to wine and finally to high fashion clothing. This facility is definitely relevant, attractive and convenient. It may make those of us who venture off campus to shop have second thoughts.
Here are Paul's photos:

Very nice addition to the property. Further, we have not seen the upper floors yet. These will be stunning too, from the small glimpses we have seen.
Maybe Paul can get an invitation to preview the ballrooms and new French restaurant. We are looking forward to seeing it, for sure.
